Worms in my apples

My sister sent me home on Sunday with a grocery sack full of apples. They were from the neighbor's apples trees and not very pretty looking mostly full of worm holes, if not worms themselves. I decided today to cut them up and try to make something out of them. I was not looking forward to the worms and I doubted slicing apples was going to hold the girls' attention for very long. However, to my delight, the worms ended up being the highlight of the morning. Vivi was fully entertained playing with them and showing Valentina her collection. Thanks to the worms I was able to get my job accomplished.
