Make way for ducklings

I went to the library and brought home a group of books for the girls. Make way for ducklings has been Vivi's favorite so far. There is a lot of great things about this book. First, I think I slightly remember it from when I was little, at least I remember the cover. Second, the ducks fly to a Public Garden (of all places!). I did not know this before reading it the first time to Viv. As a horticulturist, how great is that! Third and probably the best, she's been learning a lot of new vocabulary. This week she's already used: public garden, river bank, mallard, and highway outside the context of the book. So we're taking advantage of our local library and all the books available.
